If you’re wondering where I’ve been – all over the map this winter with my wife: RV’ing and fishing in Texas, across to Florida, Georgia and up the East coast to Maryland. In the beginning of May, we jumped aboard my 32′ Nordic Tug boat which was stored there, and are currently cruising back to the UP via the Hudson River, Erie Canal, and the Trent-Severn Waterway in Canada.
We are now in Canada (the North Channel) and we’ll soon be back in Michigan as we finally, after about 5 years of cruising during the winters, will “cross our wake,” and complete the American Great Loop.
I’ve purchased several fishing licenses in order to wet a line in Texas, Florida, New York and Canada. I’ve casted from the ocean shore, docks, rocks, dinghy, and my stern. East, West, home is best.
