Fishing and dock up-date

Over the holiday weekend, Memorial Day, we fished on Lake Superior for lake trout and coho 4 times. The Coho were in too close to fish with my boat, so we went after lakers. Had a few issues with downriggers that set us back, but managed to catch our share anyway, with only one working downrigger. A lot of good eating size in the 2 to 3 lb range. Had 2 meals in the last 4 days and put some in the freezer to smoke later on.
Not too many boats on the lake yet, but saw some of the regulars. Everyone is catching lake trout.
Spent some time working on the dock also. Have the deck on the outer 50 feet so I can get the skirting on soon and use it to park the boat. Still hoping for the water level to come up more though. It’s still about 13 inches lower than the end of last summer, so not quite deep enough to bring my boat in yet.
