Lake Trout fishing with hering dodgers and spin and glows plus spoons.

Fished yesterday in Bete Grise with same party as 2 days previous. They had booked 2 trips since they wanted to do a lot of fishing while here in the Copper country. I didn’t get a “total catch” photo with my camera, but we got 10 fish with the largest ones 4 to 4.5 lbs. All caught near the bottom in 130 to 170 feet.
We had a little excitment with the Dept. of Homeland Security as they boarded my boat to check registation and asked about firearms. Quite a boat, with four 300 hp Mercury Verados on a 28 foot custom boat. They were polite enough, but in the end, I had to ask them to leave so we could get back to fishing.
Also visited Stannard Rock, Gull Rock and Manitou today with a couple from Illinois.
