Trolling is the choice to make
When you want some fun
You drag some lures to hook a fish
Then you let it run
When you see one jumping
Far behind the boat
It cannot be a Laker
A good chance it’s a Rainbow Trout (Steelhead)
For an aggressive Steelhead
Let him work the drag
Or you’ll lose the battle
And not land him in your bag
Your rods and reels are important
To land aggressive trout
The drag must do it’s job
And let the line pull out
If you pull too hard
As Coho Salmon wags his head
You pull the hooks right from his mouth
And he gets off instead
Even pressure on the line
Applied by rods that bend
And line to absorb the pounding
Of the Coho on the end
Around high noon you pull all lines
And after a good day
We clean your fish, we say goodbye
And friends forever stay
