Fishing in New Area in Bete Grise

Fished with Cad-man Walt, Fisherman Evan and Know-it-all Stanley yesterday morning for a few hours on a new spot that I picked out from looking at the lake charts.
The sun-rise was awesome as we exited the channel and Walt got a few nice shots of it.
Fishing started off slow, but soon picked up a double header with a couple larger fish than we have seen in a while. After doing a few loops, we had 9 lake trout with an average of 4 lbs. In the end, we snagged both of our down riggers and lost tackle, but retrieved the cannon balls.



Too windy on the lake for fishing today with small craft advisories and I had to cancel out for the afternoon charter, but will be on the water again tomorrow, though.
