What’s the best thing about being a fishing (and sightseeing) charter captain? It’s putting a smile on the faces of my customers that gives me the most satisfaction. Sure, there are challenges and not everything about working on the water would be considered “peaches and cream,” but it’s a great way to spend the summer! I look forward to EVERY day and strive to make each day better than the day before.
Here are some of my favorite pictures that we took this summer on my charters on Lake Superior.Yes, most of my Lake Superior charters are fishing, but many are lighthouse seekers and some are fishing/sightseeing combos. Here, we got pictures of Manitou Island light and I dragged a lure on a light spinning rod and hooked up a nice, 12lb lake trout bu Gull Rock Lighthouse. Below, I am holding a lake trout that fought a REALLY hard battle at Stannard Rock – nice colors, eh?
