Fishing lately

Fished with baker Julia and nurse Kaitlynn on Monday morning for a couple of hours and got 7 lake trout total, most of them suspended. It was Kaitlynns first time on lake superior fishing for lakers, but Julia has been out before.
In the afternoon, Margie and I took out a couple, interior designer Lynne and Atty Tom from Madison who are looking for property on the lake. showed them our empty lot for sale (and Carl’s) and went down as far as Hermits cove and back on the 91 foot Helm-n-Buoys. Very nice and flat and we all had a good time on the water.


On Wednesday, I had a party of 4 guys from lower Michigan and came home with 8 lake trout, some pretty nice size to a couple of them. It seems that all lines were active, with fish caught on the dypsies, planer board and downriggers… or was that on Wednesday?? I can’t remember, I guess I will have to blog more often before I forget the details.
