Recently, Margie, Bruce and myself traveled to the Detroit area to attend the annual fishing show in the Novi Showplace.
As always, it was great… if you like fishing, that is. Margie, Bruce, brother Karl and nephews Dwight and Zack only spent a couple hours there, but I spent the entire day and could have enjoyed another day or two, but we had to get back home.
The fishing tackle and accessories are endless, even though there’s not much as far as Lake Trout fishing seminars, but that’s my specialty and could teach that seminar. I did attend a few seminars on inland lake fishing… for walleye and bass and some general stuff on using GPS and sonar more effectively to locate fish more consistently. I also bought a power cord for my boat GPS so I can learn more features on the off-season and rename my coordinates from last summer.
I put together a video on a lure that I picked up there… it’s call an Echotail. See the video here for the details: Video on the EchoTail
